"B" Day
Yearbooks are on sale for both high school and elementary. Both yearbooks are in full-color and the students have done a great job designing the pages. The HS Mesquite hardcover yearbook is $35 and a very limited number of copies were ordered so make sure to reserve yours. The elementary paperback yearbook is $10. The books will be available for distribution in mid-May.

PUHS is recruiting new lifeguards for the summer season. This is a great flexible summer job and a great skill and job reference to list on future resumes. All lifeguards must be certified in Senior Lifesaving in order to work at the pool and Michelle Turner is in the process of setting up the necessary class at the U of A Aquatic Center. Please see Mr. Fagergren if you are interested in becoming a lifeguard.
The Lifesaving/CPR/First Aid/AED classes, required for the lifeguard job, have been set for Friday, April 23 from 4:30 - 9:30 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday April 24 and 25 from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm. The classes for Water Safety Instruction, required to teach water safety (extra pay), have been scheduled for Saturday/Sunday May 1-2 from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Seniors - Many local scholarship applications are due in the next few weeks. Come to the Counseling Office for applications, advising and support to help get money for college.
